    This picture was taken in late May of 2008.
    I awoke at 4 a.m. to drive to an elk carcass just west of Canyon Village with
    the hope of finding a bear feeding on the remains of a cow elk taken by
    wolves the previous morning.  No luck with the bear, but two of the three
    wolves that took the elk (and consumed her unborn calf), returned at
    sunrise.  I like this image as it seems as though the ravens are all looking up
    to the stoic black wolf as if waiting for important information...
