| Image Title: Wolf Breakfast Table, Yellowstone National Park, WY Photographer's Notes: On this special morning I was walking alone - off the beaten path, over a sagebrush hillside. This is what I found... A total of four wolves were feeding on a recently killed elk. Three gray and one black wolf fed, completely unaware of my presence. It was one of those "magical Yellowstone moments", when I knew that away from the road, the trail and the developed sites in the park - this scene was witnessed by only one set of human eyes, and they were mine! As this has been a very good winter for the Yellowstone Ecosystem, this image was taken on April 25 (2008) - it looks as if it could have been taken during the month of January.
