Geyser Basin can be very eerie... Especially when you are the only person there! On this morning I was guiding a group along the boardwalks and we had the entire basin to ourselves! Not a single other living soul (except a raven, river otter, snowshoe hare, and a pine marten) were around... Before the morning sun could burn off the thermal fog, I took this picture of some two-legged kind disappearing into the winter mist. This image is currently available in multiple sizes.
