Image Title:
Paradise Valley Tipi

Photographer's Notes:
This location was once a large open space.
    A wide, north-south, "U shaped" glacial valley,
paralleled by the Absaroka Mountains to the
east and the Gallatin Mountains to the west.
The valley was domesticated in the last 150+
years with cattle and crops by Europeans from
    the east.
Now being subdivided, this true bit of 'Montana
Paradise' is threatened with a multi-million
dollar golf course surrounded by mansions.
(sorry, there's no stopping it now - the new
mansion project has already broken ground).
