of Glacier National Park's backcountry - I looked down on the pebble beach of Upper Kintla Lake to find this wooden "turtle". Amazingly enough, it was not carved by human hand, just the natural wood grain being shaped and broken-down by countless seasons of cold alpine waters pushing it against the rocks of the lake edge.

as you wander the woods - you might be pleasantly surprised at what you find! This image is currently available in multiple sizes. To place an order: Please fill out and submit your contact information and questions about image. Please specify the image title you are inquiring about. |
