    The mountain in the distance is Heart
    Mountain, 8,123' is one of the sights to the
    northern skyline from Cody, Wyoming. The
    mountain is held in high respect by native tribes
    in the area.

    The red hue of the Chugwater Formation is
    visible from the road as you descend off of
    Dead Indian Pass (sometimes called "Dead
    Whitey Pass") towards Cody from the
    Beartooth Highway.
