Butte Creek can be calming to watch. Add to it the new snow pillows that cover the rocks and down trees that fill in the creek bed and you have a wonderfully unique winter scene. This image was taken in a section of creek that is not far from the plowed winter road to Cooke City, the small town just outside the North East Entrance to the park. I had to wade through thigh-deep snow to capture the image that I wanted... It was worth it! This image is currently available in multiple sizes.
