    This Redtail Hawk stood motionless for
    quite some time while wind whipped
    around the surrounding aspen branches.
    May is the time of transition for
    Yellowstone's seasons - winter lets loose
    it's cold grip and spring takes hold for a
    short while... On this day (May 12, 08),
    the road from Mammoth to Old Faithful
    closed due to snow...  More is to be
    expected...
