| Image Title: Grizzly Bear Spring Food, Yellowstone National Park, WY Photographer's Notes: I watched as this bear scented the air and made its way from a mile away, directly to this recently deceased bull bison. The old bull bison had made it through the hardships of winter and persevered the long cold months with lack of food...as the grasses had just started to turn green, he swam the width of the frigid Lamar River only to expire on the other side. His body fed quite a few of Yellowstone creatures and gave nutrients to the soils and future valley vegetation. This image is currently available in multiple sizes.
